It has a nice environment and is situated in a stunning area of the country, surrounded by the Welsh mountains and the coastline. It is a very friendly university and there is always lots to do. The lecturers are helpful and are very supportive, and there is a large variety of courses to choose from, including taking up 2 or 3 subjects even if you have never studied them before

There are many large libraries, computer rooms and study areas where you can go anytime between lectures, on the weekend or even during the holidays. There are always a lot of relevant materials you can use alongside your course.

The uni support team are always there if you have any problems, including personal queries and issues about your course.

The students union has over 100 societies that anyone can get involved in, and there are always extra-curricular events taking place

Bangor is a small city, but very friendly and easy to navigate. There are a few main streets with a large number of shops in, including around 5-6 different supermarkets and many leisure centres and attractions to visit; including a swimming pool, nightclubs and the Bangor pier.

There are over 100 societies that people can experience; including quidditch, orchestras, language lessons, and a large variety of sports.

There is a wide selection of courses you can take up, and all of the lecturers are really supportive and friendly in times when you need them the most

They have a BEA (Bangor Employability Award) which helps you enhance your CV with a variety of relevant skills, and helps you develop confidence and skills when it comes to job interviews and standing out from the crowd.

There are loads of different types of halls and accommodation that you can choose to live in, depending on your preferences and needs. Also, there are many student houses you can rent outside the university for good prices. Bangor is also seen as one of the cheapest places to live as a student!

Excellent course and high level of expertise, beautiful location, excellent student support, Welsh language provision is very good. Difficult to fit in with other students sometimes and train prices should be much lower but this isn't because of the univerisity.
