I would give Bangor a solid 4/5. It is a great uni and is very good with student support. Some aspects do need work but that can be said for everywhere. Bangor was my first and only choice and I'm thrilled to be studying where I wanted to.

New gym on the halls site is amazing (sadly doesn't have a swimming pool) but has great machines and there isn't a wait for machines in the gym

Relatively quiet but has most high street shops. Bigger towns are relatively close.

Bangor Feminist Society is a great way to campaign and make new friends with similar opinions.

I only have seven hours of timetabled lectures this term (and only had nine in term one) for my course. Not happy considering people doing biology and similar topics have around 21 hours of timetabled sessions a week.

Love halls! WiFi isn't amazing but everything else is great!

The university buildings are very nice and practical and a lot is put in place so everyone has a nice study environment.

The content of the classes is really amazing, and every lecturer has made it clear that they are available for the students, so we feel very supported.

The accomodation is really great, and the halls office are organising a lot of things for student living in halls so we always have something to do, which is great.
