I have made such great friends being at Trent, the staff are brilliant and so helpful whether you’re struggling with uni or mental health. The location is perfect for students as it’s right in the city and the facilities are brilliant. I think there it would be beneficial for there to be more social spaces with large working areas in the arts department as this would be helpful to collaborate further with friends and have more options of work space.

I really enjoy knitwear so it’s great to be on a course which specialises in it, we cover a large range of elements within designing which is exciting however this can be very stressful trying to balance work coming up to handing.

It has great facilities and tons of different spaces to study. It was definitely the right place for me. They give a lot of support to all students but have gone above and beyond to help me with my disability. I can't think of anything to improve; it's brilliant at NTU.

The facilities are amazing, lots of different machines so lots of people can be making samples at the same time. my course is very full on. I have a lot of contact hours, which is good, but it makes it difficult to get the amount of independent study they expect done. I really enjoy my 80 credit but hate my 40 credit I think it has to do with not liking this lecturer, the seminar group and the topics although we have just started colour which I am enjoying.

The staff are all lovely. We have a cleaner who cleans the communal area once a week. It is easy to collect packages and do laundry. It feels safe with 24-hour security, a fobbed gate, and three locked doors to get into my room. Any issue can be easily reported and will be fixed quickly, normally the same day or the next day. It is a little slower over the weekend or when there are open days.
