The facilities that they offer for my course are great however Gloucestershire is not exactly built for students, there are not many activities around to benefit students, look at your location as well as university before going

There is a good variety of modules available if you are unsure as to what you want to study, however the contact hours are very mixed and sometimes the workload changes lots

The halls of residence that I am at is at least a 40 minute walk away from the university so there is a lot of time spent travelling. Halls are also quite expansive and the allocation is randomised so you have no idea who you’ll be with. Safety is really good though and support is helpful

The university of Gloucestershire has been a fantastic place to study - I have studied from undergrad to Phd. The location of the various sites is fantastic and each has its own unique character. I have been very fortunate that all the courses I have under taken the resources and support has always been available - from staff on the course to those in the helpzone. The student union is good too but definitely feel they don't target the postgrad students as much. There is a lovely relationship between staff and students, friendly environment with a nice sense of belonging. The course support even for the PhD which is non taught has been fantastic and UoG have gone above and beyond to make sure I had the right supervisor for the duration of my PhD. I really have enjoyed it here. I've maybe not taken advantage of the social as much as I should, but think post-covid that is probably quite a lot of us! Would highly recommended for post grad and under grad for the quality of teaching and fantastic staff.

Being a PhD it is quite different but staff has been fantastic and library is great, peaceful and has good resources. Previously did an internship as part of my masters which was arranged by the university / guest lecturer which was good and definitely helped with the career I have now.
