It's exactly what it needs to be, at least personally - a professional workplace that approaches teaching both logically and theoretically, while still leaving room for some fun. Lecturers are knowledgeable and approachable, leaving time to both give lecture content, as well as provide one-to-one or group assistance if need be. To this end, whilst help is always available, part of me wishes this were advertised a bit more, outside of just a mention at the start of the year or during a module/course introduction. Otherwise, everything is perfect. Facilities are lovely and technology is up to date, if maybe a little slow to start, needing upwards of 15 minutes for certain programs. I recognise this is because every system is loaded with multiple high-load/intensity programs, presumably needing time to load each on startup/login, as well as time to connect to the university network. So while this issue is somewhat unavoidable without (fairly costly) upgrades to RAM, it means students who wish to bypass this long startup process will need their own PC systems - a laptop in many cases. Otherwise, the uni building is comfortable, providing both public work spaces and more private booths, including a small cafe area for coffee and refreshment provisions throughout the day. I really quite like my uni, and I look forward to the years of study to come!

Although email is usually a good option, and one I've used a few times, with lecturers usually responding in a timely manner, I do wish it were easier to know where to find lecturers when not in lectures. Most lecturers at UWTSD don't have a specified office as far as I know, so the most reliable way to find a lecturer is to attend their corresponding lecture. As for work placements and internships, admittedly, I've not looked into them very much, but I think the Student Union offers help with that? Nevertheless, this was only advertised during freshers' week, and not since. However, I believe the uni is working on rectifying this with the construction of the "Innovation Matrix" building opposite the main IQ building. I hope the Student Union will have a greater presence there especially, rather than just being situated a bit far from the IQ building, in the Dylan Thomas Center.
