I am currently an undergraduate student at university of Kent (in my first year) and studying law. I really enjoy my course and think my lectures are very informative about the subject. What I enjoy most about my course is the diversity because, it allows you to have knowledge which you can apply to your everyday life. This is very important and useful as it helps you analyse and solve situations in a more systematical way. In terms of city life, I would also say that it is very decent and nice as you get to meet various people from not just the university of Kent but also people from other unis like Christ Church University and Medway. I really love how the different unis and their societies try to come together and make the university life an interesting and exciting experience. My advice if you do choose university of Kent, remember one thing: You will have the absolute assurance that you will be able to focus and concentrate on your work whenever it is time to get down on your books, however won't miss out on city life as events and promoters will be all around and keeping you updated. Canterbury has some great places where you can play some sports in the city for instance water sports are available in Whistable and you do find people occasionally playing Badminton, tennis and squash and many other sports. Personally, I would think it is good to see sporting activities going on and people enjoying doing these sports as it would add to the motivation to join and become a part of it. Canterbury being a nature country side town you see various parks of all sizes where there is enough space to do any kind of sport you could think off - this not only helps keeping you energetic but also fit and healthy. Whenever, you feel like going for a run or doing some exercise you will definitely find people that would love to join you.
