I've always felt very supported at Brighton by the staff who have consistently been open to listening, and view their students in a considerate and wholistic way which made me feel like they cared about me as a person, and not just my work and grades (although that is important too). Improvement wise I wish there was more consideration for those who are juggling work and study in terms of when events and workshops are organised, but also for the additional stress this puts on achieving a degree at any level.

As a postgrad, most of my contact with the lecturers and subsequent workshops and seminar sessions take place online, but most are offered in a blended capacity which does makes it easier to organise meeting and access content when planning around life commitments. One bad thing is that a lot of the optional workshops always take place on the same days and times which makes it difficult for people who work set hours that they can't easily move around or change.

The University of brighton provudes an inclusive learning environment with dedicated teaching and on-teaching staff. The courses offered by the university place strong emphasis on practical learning connected to real-world cases, going beyond exams and assignments. This allows students to put theoretical learning outcomes into practice.

The MSc Computer Science course is suitable for students from a non-computer science background. Provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment, focused on real-world cases.

Safe, quiet living environment, ideal for studying. Budget-friendly en-suite room. One challenge is the distance from the Moulsecoomb campus and nearby supermarkets, which can be inconvenient at times. However, this can be managed through public transport and online grocery ordering and delivery services.
