I am currently in my third year, studying English Literature, with ambitions to stay at De Montfort University for my Masters as I have had such a smooth-sailing experience so far. The student support team is extremely beneficial in all areas, whether that be questions regarding student loans or just general queries about how to navigate life at University. The autism team have been amazingly helpful to me also.

The course is heavily essay based, which for me is a bonus as I enjoy writing. There is a strong focus on historical contexts (which I also enjoy). To improve, I feel like some of the workshop exercises we carry out could be condensed into shorter sections to ensure we are spending a sufficient amount of time actually engaging with the course content as inevitably sometimes group discussions can make a detour into general chat.
