Abit far from stuff

It's an amazing university, most activities are centered around bachelors students. Not so much for MSc Students as such. Fees for international students are quite expensive compared to other universities. I have experienced my fair share of racism on campus, but the school is doing its best to bring more awareness to it. It is within the capital of wales, so it is quite close to a lot of nice places, like the city center. Lots of friendly students, and otherwise. Lecturers and professors are somewhat approachable so that helps. Lots of technology and apps are used here, and not so much information or gatherings to educate people on how to use these applications to help their studies. Personally, Cardiff University is a very good school. It's got a massive reputation as well, so that definitely counts for something.

For those seeking placement opportunities, it is helpful to note that the school is not going to assist you with finding placement apart from the generic CV workshops and advice. Also, I got to know that the course can be shortened to the 1 year MSc if you are unable to find a placement. Also, it is helpful to note that as an international student, it is extremely difficult to find a placement opportunity, and it would be helpful if the school looked into assisting the students in getting placements from reputable companies.

The location is excellent as it is close to the city center. It is predominantly full of bachelor's first-year students, so you should expect a lot of noise. The rooms are extremely small, and the beds are single beds, with just one small window. The light is extremely bright and there is no room for adjustments, also frequent noise from the ceiling from people above in the rooms above can hurt your sleep and overall well-being. The wifi is relatively stable and quick enough.
