The University of Stirling has a gorgeous campus and some really great facilities. They're always doing regular investments into the campus to make it more beautiful and comfortable for the students. Student life is just okay. It's kind of difficult to feel at home in societies, and most that aren't sporting get minimal funding or attention from the uni. The food options are low quality and expensive. It's also a challenge to find food that caters to specific dietary needs that aren't veganism. The library is always full - too busy to comfortably study most of the time. Lecturers are underpaid and unmotivated, most of the time, which comes through in the teaching. It's often difficult to get meetings in place for essential mental-health purposes - for example, I have to wait until November for the assessment meeting for my Masters ARUUA, which is unsuitable since I had an ARUUA with this university since my undergrad last year and I have exams in October for which I won't have the required additional time.
The uni provides (in my experience) unrivalled careers support. The lady who's responsible for the service works very hard to provide interactive workshops, 1-1s, and access to links and websites for careers development that my friends at other universities do not get the same free access to, such as CareerSet and GraduatesFirst. You can book in for next-day meetings and interview practice with this service.

My classes are taught in person with regular workshops, seminars, and lectures. Kevin is a fabulous lecturer who makes all of the content available on canvas by recording it. If you ask for help, he never belittles any questions and always tries his best to ensure your success. I cannot say the same for other lecturers on the course. There is one who belittles all the students, he goes on rants or boasts about hard work and his career instead of teaching the course content, never records lectures, never responds to emails, and never makes any of the lectures or course content available. For example, we had asked many times for a textbook to read, and he never gave us a textbook until week 4, but we had an exam on week 5 and he expected us to have read and learned all 220 pages of the book (...that he wrote). The course is 2 years worth of content condensed into one, so it's very rushed by 3/4 of the module lecturers. The facilites are fine, but I'm not a fan of the lecture hall desks that squeak as you set them up and can get caught or stuck very easily. I have never seen nor heard of my Master tutor. I have no idea who they are or could be.
