One of the best parts about Exeter is the location. The campus is beautiful and if anything it actually makes me enjoy studying and going to campus more as the view and environment is so nice. The campus is also very close to the town centre and the city overall is extrmely walkable which I love. There are also so many societies here that it is very easy to find people you do click with. I have also really enjoyed my studies here, the multitude of different modules you can take has meant that I have really been able to tailor my course to myself and my interests which has made the whole process way more enjoyable. I have also been very lucky to have had some great academic supervisors and module leads that make you feel like they really do want you to do well and that they care. However, on the flip side of that I have had some struggles feeling unsupported in other areas of my studies but overall it has a been a great experience both in my undergraduate studies and postgraduate studies here at Exeter and I would really recommend the uni to anyone unsure where to go. (plus there are great beaches really close by and there are some great direct trains out of exeter in case you ever need to pop home!).

I have really been able to tailor this course to my specific interests which has been brilliant and made the whole process a lot more enjoyable! However, a masters is a lot of work with much more contact time and work demanded of you and there were certain times when I felt like there was too much on plate and I didnt know where to go to support. On the flip side of that though there have been a few specific members of teaching staff that have been outstanding and you can tell they really enjoy teaching and want you to enjoy studying!

Exeter is beautiful with its perfect location of being close to the beaches and in the countryside. However, like any town there are areas that I don't feel perfectly safe walking by myself as a woman and the student rent is quite high compared to other uni towns. There are many paid-opportunties for part-time work, especially on campus which is what I have done during my studies, but also in the town centre.

I stayed in East Park in my first year of undergraduate studies and it was honestly perfect. The location is excellent with it only being 5 minutes away from the centre of campus, it has a beautiful view, and the rooms and kitchens are modern and very well done.
