Supportive tutors, engaging course content, great choice of societies, and great nightlife. I've really enjoyed my first term at University of Chester.

Mostly face-to-face, rather than through Teams which is nice. Lectures are spread throughout the week, although the library is always open between classes, as a space to read/study. Engaging course content, good mix of different teaching methods. For example seminars, quizzes, YouTube videos, group work; not just Powerpoint slides for every session. Varied assessment methods for assignments: this first term I've had to give presentations, create a video, and write essays.

Good value for money, good support system both during the day and out-of-hours (night porters are just around the corner), heating is always on, and cleaners visit every Wednesday. Only gripe for me is kitchen is a bit small for 7 people.

School is quite supportive with various resources.
