There are so many different facilities, from the sports facilities to all of the different places to study or work. The campus has such a good feel to it and it is lovely to have some green space on campus as well.

I had to finish my second year online due to covid and even then the quality of teaching was maintained and i still felt that i was learning just as much as in person lectures. Now I am fully back in person the quality of teach has been upheld and the lectures are engaging as well as informative. The tutorial are a helpful way to solidify my knowledge of the different subjects I study as I can discuss topics with my peers and cement my understanding.

I love that Loughborough is a smaller town but still has a lot going on and is a very affordable place to live. The easy transport connections are also a great benefit as you can easily get to Nottingham in under 20 mins or London in 90 mins.

I was very happy with my time in halls, the room was very nice as was the bathroom. The kitchen was also very nice and there was even multiple ovens and stoves to make cooking easier with 8 people in a flat. I always felt very safe due to keycards to get into the building and locks on the flat door and the room door having different keys as well as the reassurance that campus security were not far away

I have had a very memorable experience at Loughborough University, I have been able to develop academically and personally. I have achieved all my goals that I planned to achieve plus more. There were definitely highs and lows whilst I was at University, I do believe Loughborough need to make improvements in the way that students are assessed and need to reform the amount of modules that student study in an academic year.

The facilities are good, however it could be improved through having : an actual car park for students , more designated study areas for just finalists and more 24 hour buildings.

My personal tutor is great, she is always willing to help and support me where she can. The feedback given on coursework has improved with the new system put in place. The counselling services offered are also good however, the waiting list is too long. There needs to be more counsellors.

It is hard for me to comment as I have not personally been involved with my student union. However, from what I do know about them, is that it is student led and they offer student jobs such as working in the bars and shops.

Yes, it is approximately 12 minutes from the university campus and is 5 minutes from town which has all the shops/gyms that a student needs .

Loughborough is a sports university, we have every sport known to man. There is definitely a variety in what the university offers from recreational sports to playing competitively. Furthermore, there are over 100 societies for students to join, from faith based to games based.

What I like the most - The variety of modules we can choose . What I like the least- We do not have tutorials unless it is maths based module

We have two main services ; the Careers team and the Placement team . The Careers team offer a range of services to boost employability through offering : Quick Advice, Career Consultations , Mock interviews and have 2 Career Fairs a year with a variety of employers. The Placement team is dedicated to helping students attain a placement , this is achieved through the team reading our CVs, conducting mock interviews and mock assessment centres.

I feel that my accommodation is expensive for what it is , however it is in the best location possible. It is approximately 12 minutes from my University and 5 minutes from town. The area is relatively safe and the house is safe to my knowledge.
