I think one of the best aspects about my university experience has been the ease of access to everything, whether it be to campus, to the course material, to the reading material in the library, or the ease of contacting the counseling service, the quick assistance from accomodation team etc. Everything has been deliberately planned carefully so that students when in assistance can find what help they need where they need. The course I am in is also very meticulously planned. I enjoy the freedom it gives me to have a social life but also the way it pushes me to be an independent learner. One of the worst aspects of my Uni experience has definitely been the initial stages of coming here. I feel that there wad a lack of communication especially from the international department. The admission process alongside the CAS number process took longer than usual then most universities, and this information was not conveyed by those specific teams in time. This made it very stressful as an international ational student. If there's one thing that could be improved I'd say it's the help and the admission process for international students. Which should be improved as it's very slow and it can delay visa etc. I think there should be a better system in place which expedites this process or improves it.

I think my course is quite diverse, I enjoy that the course content is very clearly laid out and each thing taught each week somehow play a role in the process of interior design. I enjoy the depth and knowledge that my tutors have and are able to provide. I think my course hours are quite fair. They give us enough time to learn and also carry out independent research. I think at the moment. Contact with the lecturers is sufficient as we havent started anything major. I think one aspect which was a little jarring for me is how intense the course actually is. However I think he course plan is easing us in efficiently

I think I quite love my university halls, for the price I pay. It's got all the basic amenities, its a 1 minute walk from campus, and it's got good wifi, hot water, kitchen with working appliances. I like that there is a res life axcomodation team which are always available to sort out queries it's really helpful not only for accomodation queries but general queries. While I think the acocmodation does provide most stuff. I think the sizing of the shower could be improved. It's quite small which means it can get claustrophobic while you're showering with hot water. And as it's a Sharing accomodatio nyou can't open the door to let out some air. I think there definitely needs to be more ventilation in there

The facilities are generally good and the buildings are really modern with large lecture theatres and plenty of areas to work independently. The library is open 24/7 which is pretty useful and there’s lots of cafes to grab quick lunches. It’s only 10minute walk into the main part of Manchester and lots of shops around, so the location is really good. Well-being support is really good as well they get back to you really quickly. Student halls could do with a bit of a touch up e.g paint on walls peeling some appliances not working but the maintenance and on-site staff are quick at resolving any requests. Lots on offer for students like activities and sports reslife do a lot throughout the year for students living in halls and the union also have lots of student nights with different things to do. Teaching wise the staff are generally good some are more involved than others, however some times things are last minute like timetables being released and emails, but that might just depend on your course. Overall, it is a good university with lots on offer, has good accommodation with modern design and appliances and it’s in a great location with train station nearby and bus stops all around.

For first year the course content is good you learn a lot about software and how to use the likes of vectorworks and photoshop. They give a lot of support when finding placements and advice for interviews. Hear lots of stories of past students going into practices across the world and there’s a lot of potential prospects. Tutor contact time varies because of the amount of people on the course it is difficult to get 1 to 1 support however you can email questions but there’s a delay in replies depending on the tutor. Facilities are really good in the art school there’s so much to offer and you share with all years so you can gain advice from 2nd or 3rd years on the unit you are doing, which is useful.
