There are good transport links for those travelling by car and plenty of car parking. The Student Union is always buzzing, lively and upbeat with lots of societies to get involved with and activities planned every month. The buildings and facilities are good however due to the large campus size, it can be hard to find important buildings such as: the library, student support and chaplaincy buildings. Overall, Loughborough University is a reputable institution and a great place to study for a masters degree.

The course content is excellent as it introduces us to the theories, computing skills and the latest trends in the Data Science industry. I believe that my career prospects will certainly increase after completing this course. However, in terms of subject facilities, some of the computer labs are not preinstalled with software that the student requires in lab sessions. Also, due to the intensive nature of this one year course (block teaching method), it becomes very difficult to apply for summer internships or gain further experience in this field. Tutor contact time is also very low with one meeting per semester. So far, I have enjoyed studying this course at Loughborough University.

My overall experience has been a wonderful one, I have not had any bad experience and I know the best is yet to come.

The Course pushes more into more research and enables you learn outside of the school confines and into the real world and it is quite exciting
