What makes DMU great is the community, everyone is made to feel at home with many various types of facilities available in-and-around the campus with various shops to accustom to different tastes and as its in the middle of the City Centre its extremely easy to commute to wherever you are, the campus looks great and is always clean. The Food Village has amazing food on offer such as homemade Pizza, Jacket Spuds or if you like a cheeky meal deal it has those too. The on-campus library isn't something to be overlooked either it has 1000s upon 1000s of books available in every genre you can think of and more. The staff are very friendly as well as having in-house facilities such as a Starbucks, multiple vending machines as well as a gaming computer studio for leisure purposes. Finally, the overall feel of the University is very homely so even for international students or students who aren't originally from Leicester they won't have any issues settling in at the University and this is also helped by the various tutors and professors in the various buildings who all come from different backgrounds themselves as well as having a very high teaching standard and a high understanding of students wellbeing and overall development. However, if I could improve maybe one thing I would say the on-campus parking needs a slight readjustment as there is often not enough so people need to park at the Tesco Superstore which is a 10 minute walk away but overall a fantastic University and one where I'm still enjoying the experience

My course is very broad as I study Business Data Analytics (BSc Honours) so has so many different elements to it such as Computing side with Coding, Programming and Website Building as well as the theory side of Computing such as Security Information, Storage and Memory Types. It also has a Mathematical side to it with Transportation, Transshipment and Profit using many different software such as The Management Scientist, Excel and more. And finally, the best bit the business side which consists of helping to know how to run a business efficiently but also manage your finances as a Business Owner/Associate as well as many other opportunities in the course to help you progress further such as studying abroad for a year or Placements
