Most lecturers are willing to give an extra hand of help when asked. Online classes run smoothly when they can't be taught in person. Course content links together quite well and gives a strong foundation of computing in general. Career prospects are very visible from the start. This includes possible routes that could be taken because of the skills acquired while learning.

Crowding is rarely ever an issue and public transport is easy enough to access. Retail job opportunities are always around the corner. Restaurants and foods of all kinds are provided. Sports facilities are available in many places.

For first year students, Brooke Street Halls comes at a great price for those who are testing the waters of student accomodation. Vacuum cleaners and a mop and bucket are provided so that throughout the week the flat can stay fairly clean. However that is dependant on the residents. From viewing the halls online and in person, there exists a prison like feel that multiple people have described. This is likely due to the walls having the brick pattern exposed. It takes away from a homely environment but after some time you learn to ignore it. The location is a huge advantage. With less than a 10 minute walk to the University and surrounded by stores and th House of Fraser, going shopping or doing other leisurely activities is easy.
