I love the facilities and campus of my uni, the bright colors and atmosphere make it enjoyable place to study at. It’s great that we have access to a wide range of areas for any art medium imaginable. Something that I think could be improved is the canteen. The food is great but I think more people would be interested in eating there if there was a heater during the cold winter and if there was a way to make the space more colorful. Another way I think that my uni could get students to stay on campus longer is if there were more events or activities on campus.

Some of the best aspects of my course is the tutor contact time and the facilities. Our tutors in illustration are really great at giving us feedback on our work and helping us improve. I love that they always feel reliable and that I know I can ask them for help when needed. I also appreciate that we are able to use many different facilities for our art. The only thing that I think could be improved is the lectures as I don’t think it’s entirely the speakers fault but sometimes it can feel boring listening to the lectures in the morning. That being said I really am grateful for our tutors and their lectures as I know they are doing their best to keep us engaged in the early morning.

Having completed my foundation, BA and now MA at AUB I have experienced almost all of the facilities available on campus and have really enjoyed every aspect of life at AuB
