I loved the Ag to the bottom of my heart and back. I loved the culture of the university and the student attitude. It's a very well-rounded university and the quality of lecturers is amazing. We are names and faces to them, not numbers or a general crowd. They become very well known to us and us to them, and that was really important to me
Facilities
How good are your university's facilities?
The library can get incredibly busy during deadlines and exams, but the layout is social and makes it easy to do group coursework together. There are books on all subjects and topics available to borrow in the library's and newspapers and journals are brought in every day
Student support
How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).
There is a lot of wellbeing support by the university, I never needed to worry where I needed help. Counselling is available for students too. It's a very friendly university and I'm glad I didn't go somewhere else
Students' union
What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?
Local life
Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?
Lots of sports and societies to choose from, places on campus and town to socialise. The general student attitude and culture is very welcoming and friendly, and it's possible to make friends everywhere
Societies and Sports
How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?
It's easy to access and enter all of the clubs and societies. I tried a few sports for the first time, and the club captains made it very easy for beginners to learn and use the best facilities for the club to meet
Lecturers and teaching quality
What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?
Lecturers are amazing. We have a lot of contact time during scheduled lectures, and can have more than that if we book sessions with the lecturers. They are incredibly invested in our education and it shows. My lecturers were incredibly influential to me
How many contact hours per week do you have?
16

The best Ag. College! Plenty of friends for life - kind, fun and like-minded people. Certainly academic areas and campus facilities that could be improved, but the social aspect is second to none.
