The location and amenities are amazing but the socialization is a bit difficult for new second year students

It is a great place to study as the location is easy to get to and is well placed, the facilities are easy to access and most of the time to navigate, especially the library. The support as well is excellent as there are several places on campus to ask for help but also online on the student portal, you can also easily contact your guidance tutor and lecturers/ seminar tutors if there are any problems on you course. What can be improved upon is the length of the lecture, more specifically the information that is given on the lecture slides. Depending on the lecturer information can vary and some talk about one slide for about 10 minutes when there is alot of slides to get through.

The worst part about some of the modules is how long the lecturer talks about one slide and then proceed to zoom through the rest of the slides to finish in time. I have my lectures and seminars in person which i find personally easier as I can ask questions there and then without having to worry about sending an email and waiting for a response especially if its somewhat an important question. The course/ contact hours is the right amount to get through the topic and then discuss them in the seminar.

It is in a great location and is easy to get into the town centre. The centre has loads of opportunities to shop a variety of things with a great price range from primark to fenwick. There is also a range of restaurants/ food shops with different price ranges that are suitable for University students such as Greggs. There are also a range of clubs and pubs/bars dotted around.
