Northumbria university was one of my top picks when applying for uni as the site is just perfect. So close to the Main Street shops and food places. Perfect nightlife which is so close to the Uni. So far I haven’t had a bad experience with the university so I’m hoping to keep that going the rest of my time at the Uni.

I feel like the course kinda starts a little bit to easy for university understandably people need to settle back into education but some tasks felt a bit Highschooly. Other than that I have enjoyed doing projects with my fellow piers and learning about architecture with amazing tutors and facilities.

The opportunities that was available with my course. I managed to study abroad I'm a dual degree programme and with this an internship abroad that gained me international experience as well as little bit of travel. The support system from the university in general is incredible and overall very inclusive, unlike the other University in the city. It's very humbling. The final year choices of whether to do a dissertation, management report or an undergraduate consultancy project was the most relevant. Our choices not only fitted our learning style to set us up for success, but also incredibly relevant for our course. Giving us the real word experience in our field. Improvement wise, the only thing I can say about it is the module in the first semester of final year was harder and heavier than expected, which took a toll mentally and emotionally.

With COVID everything moved online, however they managed to closely integrate F2F well into 3rd and final year. With only 2 modules per semester and 1 year-long module of our choice, this gave us quality contact hours as well as self-study hours, especially as the modules were heavier and harder. Lecturers are easy to contact and are helpful in return. This course gives you the opportunity to choose your final year module if doing either: dissertation, management report or an undergraduate consultancy project, which I am grateful for as it plays well to our strengths, fields and provides us with opportunities

Walkable and public transport friendly. You get the best of both worlds: City and Country with seaside too Great places to live that are affordable

The facilities and halls were great in general! However the location is in Gateshead which is about a 20-30 minute walk from the city campus. Though the halls are above TESCO EXTRA which is easily accessible. Other than that the rooms are great sizes, kitchen storage and fridge space aren't too bad either compared to other halls.
