It's been two months only, but all I can say that the facilities are great teachers are really kind and Extrovert in nature Which is a great thing that the students can ask and discuss about their problems and get the solutions as well as the there are maps on every show distance in the university, which helps you to navigate the location you want to reach apart from that, the worst part is by campus is not in the city Centre, it's a campus, so I have to travel for like 45 minutes every day to reach the university, which is the thing that I hate to be honest

The best part of the course is that we don't have to like do everything on our own. The teachers help us most of the time they like give us the resources and the things that we need for doing our assignments. Apart from that the worst part will be that we got less time for completing the assignments. I'm just kidding. There's nothing Worst

Leeds Beckett University stands out because of its excellent amenities and facilities. For example, the convenient shuttle bus connecting City Campus and Headingley Campus makes it easy for students to commute between the two locations. At Headingley, the Carnage Sports Building is a highlight for me. Its spacious and welcoming environment offers the perfect space to relax, study, or enjoy the lively atmosphere, enhanced by ping pong tables, coffee shops, the dynamic sports vibes, etc. I also appreciate the amazing staff at Beckett Kitchen. Reece, Robin, Dean, Betty, and others never fail to brighten my day with their energy and friendliness. The combination of delicious food and warm service motivates me to visit Headingley Campus regularly. On top of that, the campus scenery is simply beautiful, providing a serene and inspiring backdrop for both academic and social activities. Additionally, Headingley has a strong emphasis on sports, which is evident from the wide variety of options available, such as basketball, handball, football, etc. The active and sporty atmosphere makes it an exciting place to be.

The teaching style at Leeds Beckett University feels somewhat similar to the methods I’m familiar with in Vietnam, where lecturers often encourage active participation through debates, discussions, and seminars. This approach makes the classes engaging and helps students think critically about the subject matter. The combination of lectures and seminars works well, as lectures provide a solid foundation of knowledge, while seminars are more interactive, allowing for deeper exploration of topics and opportunities to discuss ideas with peers and lecturers. The emphasis on student-led discussions helps develop not only subject knowledge but also teamwork and communication skills.

Living in Leeds has been a unique experience for me as an international student. While I find the cost of living here significantly higher than in Vietnam, there are many aspects of life in Leeds that make it truly worthwhile. I’ve also been deeply touched by the friendliness and warmth of the people. From the staff at my accommodation (iQ Leeds) to everyone I’ve interacted with at the university, I’ve always been met with kindness and positivity. This welcoming environment has made it easier for me to adapt and feel at home, even in a new country. Thanks to this friendly vibe, I’ve been able to laugh a lot and enjoy my time here, which has made my student experience truly memorable.
