Best: - I love living on campus and seeing all the people I am fiends with every day. It feels a bit like a cartoon where the character says hello to everyone every morning. I just love that community feeling. - I love my classes and how they are taught. - I love how supportive and challenging my teachers are by encouraging to look at alternative views and their feedback is so helpful. Worst: - People in accommodations can be very difficult as they tend to be rude and noise is a problem. - I don't like how much building work there is on campus. I understand it needs to be done but I feel like a lot of the work that gets done in my accommodation is unnecessary like the changing of lightbulbs to make the corridor darker or the painting of door frames.

Best: - Teachers are so supportive and will help you no matter what. - Lectures are very down to earth and the lecturers never try to be superior. they always come down to our level to teach even the most basic content. Worst: - The content can be rather repetitive and jagged when trying to fit in things to include diversity. For example I study a Europe module and we jump from the world wars to decolonization. I like how diversity is included as it opens up new world but I would like it to be a bit more seamless like how my medieval topic has a week just on women as it doesn't just jump timeframe or concept, but integrates it.

I love my flat and how accessible it is. It fits my disability needs. However, I am constantly asking for help from security because of noise complaints. I am autistic and have insomnia so sleeping is already difficult but these people make it worse and they wont even stop because of security. I don't feel very looked after from the uni. I had to beg to get my fridge replaced because it broke and they didn't believe me so I had to literally document a science experiment with ice to prove the freezer was broken. Additionally we are supposed to have two fridges but only have one., and this is very annoying because everyone else has two but i pay the same amount of money with less stuff. Our hoover broke and it has taken over two weeks for it to even be put on the list of things for management to look at. But apart from these problems I do love living on campus as it is so accessible and near to the city as well as lessons. I love being with all my fiends.

I would say for a prospective student to make sure that they know the course that they want to study and all the modules in depth. For applying, make sure you are individual in your personal statement, and make sure you explain why you want to do the course.
