I enjoy the archaeology campus but I find it hard to access things on main campus too, because they're so far from each other I have to prioritise living closer to class which is more expensive too. also there's very little night life.

I love York, I have been here for 4 years now and feels such an inclusive and supportive community. The campus (both east and west) are nice and Kings Manor (where my department is located) is a gorgeous medieval building. I feel at home here!

I am loving my course in MA Cultural Heritage Management so far. Such an interesting choice of modules, the staff is very supportive and I love being at the Department of Archaeology and Kings Manor! The course is taught in person with two lectures per week, totalling 4 hours and the contact with lectures are good overall, you can always sign up for their office hours or catch them at the end of the lecture.

I lived in Langwith (campus east) at the University of York during the first year of my undergraduate degree, it was an interesting experience and important as I didn't know anything in York back then. My room was very good, spacious and the bed was great. The hall/house I lived was shared bathroom but still I did not need to share the facilities with many students, as it was just the 8 of us there. It was pricier comparing to other college accommodation but in the end I thought it worth.
