It is a very beautiful place for students.

When I received the admission letter from the university of Aberdeen, I couldn't wait to come to this beautiful town in my dream. On the first day I landed in Scotland, my landlord warmly welcomed me and introduced me to the distinctive granite house and historic campus in Aberdeen. Although this is the first time I have left my familiar language environment, the friendliness of the tutors in the university and the locals warmed me and greatly eased my anxiety. After I entered the university, every tutor repeatedly said to us that, 'don't be afraid to trouble us if you have any problem.' And they really did, always answering our questions patiently. Our campus library faces the mountain on one side and the sea on the other. Whenever I sit there, I always feel very focused and satisfied. Although I have to climb the hill to get to the campus every day because of the terrain, it also gives me physical exercise and makes me healthier. All these things make our university a good place to study, to meet new friends ,to live a happy life.

Our courses include theoretical learning and Extended Work- Based Placement internship. Before each class, the tutor will arrange the learning content so that we can preview and discuss in class. we get emails from different tutors about course announcment almost everyday, which gives us great opportunities to interact with tutors. And at the end of each class, you can always see the teacher surrounded by a group of students, asking different questions of interest. In addition to lectures in large classrooms, there are also group discussions every week. Every time when I communicate with students from different countries and share some public health issues in our own countries, I gain a lot and see a different world besides China.
