Glyndwr University is a very new university I believe. But that does not affect their course structure where lectures are delivered by experienced and inexperienced lecturerers. I am engineering student, that is from an engineering department point of view. Due to the size of the university, we have a smaller student and lecturer ratio. Final year students get to spend some quality intellectually stimulating tutorial with their specific supervisors. The facilities are rather new and limited but it does not become a problem since its a pretty small university. I have been in for 2 and a half year, currently on my final year of studies. Besides that, the careers centre is very helpful here and really knows what they are doing. Over the years, I have had help from the careers centre on shaping my Resume as well as personal statement. I have been to career guidance and careers fair with the Careers centre it all provides me with very interesting insight of the industry while meeting some of the real life working professionals. The life in Wrexham a small town located at the border of Wales to England. Its a somewhat convenient place to travel to cities like Manchester Liverpool as well as Chester. It might cost a fortune if it doesn't got booked early.They are a lot of events going on from the SU, its not the greatest but these recent 2 years it has gone a lot better as there are a lot more events happening and more things to be involved in. One thing is that international students doesn't seem to involved with the programs a lot maybe they should be cater for at some events. I am an International student but I get along with the programs very well but some of my international friends might have experience some kind of culture shock. On the other hand, the sports union seems pretty fun and I have represented the Hockey team for 2 years in a row, it is a lot of fun to be honest. The Uni Gym is not huge, thus it can be very packed at peak hours. Keeping a headcount on the amount people entering the gym seems like the way to go. Last but not least, coming to my final semester and final year of university, I believe that if you want something you have to work for it. Your university life is based on how much you make out of it. I have certainly enjoyed mine. And hopefully more people get to experience it here.

The Location is good,the teaching staff is very Supportive,and good peer group.
