There is a lot of support around studying, such as student services available for helping write essays and other academic tasks. The employability service is also really useful for helping to improve our employability

We are taught mostly on campus which I like as I feel like we can approach the lecturers whenever we need to. We also have tutor groups so that we can approach our personal tutor for any needs or concerns

I loved Catherine house as it was modern and really comfy. The rooms were really nice and so was the overall common rooms. Some improvements could be the windows as we could barely open them and so when the weather was hot it got so hot especially as I was on the 11th floor

All the staff I have come across are fantastic and willing to go above and beyond for you. The student wellbeing support is top tier in my opinion, offering therapy sessions or just a general check in. Lots of other help is available in terms of studying, including help with assignments. The library have excellent resources. The train station is a very short walk away. I can't comment much on nightlife as a mature student who commutes in, but there are plenty of bars and a couple nightclubs I've seen. The only downside I can think of is some of the buildings are looking a bit run down from the outside.

I honestly can't rate this course high enough. The lecturers are an amazing group of people, willing to go above and beyond to help any student. If you contact the team someone will soon get back to you, even when you're away on placement. It's blended between in-person lectures and online, which is perfect for me. The lecturers are extremely knowledgeable and know how to keep the lecture engaging.
