The well-being and pastoral support have been really good over my 5 years here, there is no judgement and it is so easy access these resources. The studying facilities are good, I have really liked the environment of the library for studying and it has plenty of silent study space that benefits me. Leicester has recently build a new student union which is really good with plenty of new options for lunches, including gluten free options which I am pleased to see! The thing that stuck out to me the most on my interview day was how friendly everyone was - this is something I’ve continued to notice in my 5 years here. In terms of improvement, I actually can’t think of anything. I’ve really enjoyed my time here at Leicester and don’t think I would change anything!

Medicine has been a challenging degree but a very good challenge too. I am in my final year and everything we have been taught in the past 5 years comes together nicely. I think Leicester medical school have a brilliant final year with apprenticeship style placements that are so useful in preparing us for going into our new jobs.
