Exeter is a beautiful and vibrant city, adding a huge bonus to studying at Exeter University. The staff are always happy to help and the well-being services and money support, advice and general student support is excellent. As a student struggling with low mood and anxiety, I found the prospect of continuing my education at a different University to my undergraduate course daunting, but the support available and received made the transition smooth and enjoyable. The lecturers are great at condensing information down in a manageable and easy to understand way whilst advising the areas for extra study and what is relevant to assessment/examinations. The downsides to Exeter University would sometimes be the timetabling, with sometimes a lot of hours crammed into one day, or lectures being as long as 3 hours with minimal breaks which can be too much and overloading of information. Some lecturers do not upload the lecture videos until days after the lecture which can be frustrating if you can't keep up with the pace and don't have the slides to fill in the gaps as you go, or for finishing notes after the lecture if anything is missed. If lecture slides were uploaded prior to the sessions it would be a great help. Despite these aspects, the University of Exeter is a brilliant place to learn and I hope to continue on to do a Doctorate.

Best aspects of the MSc Psychology Conversion course is that the content is always engaging, interesting and genuinely enjoyable to learn about, despite sometimes being heavy or loaded subjects. As the course is only a year, the content is a bit brief and so extra study and reading is always needed to solidify learning but this is what would be expected at this point in education. We are always made aware of lecturers office hours and encouraged the book in to see them if any clarification is needed, they are responsive to online forums answering questions and are responsive to emails. PowerPoint slides are not always available before or during the lecture and sometimes not until days after which can be slightly frustrating if you don't keep up and need to fill in your notes, but generally the teaching and content is excellent and I hope to go on to complete a Doctorate with Exeter University.

Exeter is a beautiful and vibrant city with a variety of places to eat, drink, and dance, places to do all three as well as karaoke and drinking games! Quiet and peaceful walks and cafes down the key and waterfront, rentable water-based activities such as canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and placing to do clip and climb climbing walls, or axe throwing. Exeter is also equipped with a large town center with shopping for the fashion of all tastes. With multiple cinemas, theatres, train stations, and good bus transport, Exeter also has its football team and stadium, the Exeter Chiefs, and Rugby teams. Exeter is a city that anyone would enjoy! Going to University here is a huge bonus, but I used to visit Exeter for days, or weekends before moving here!
