Courses taught very well and it was a good experience

Best aspect: One positive aspect of university is the financial resources available to support students, such as scholarships, bursaries, grants, and access to part-time work on or near campus. These resources can reduce financial pressure and allow students to focus more on their studies. Universities also often provide access to subsidised facilities, learning resources, and student discounts, which can make higher education more affordable compared to managing these costs independently. Worst aspect / areas for improvement: Despite these resources, financial support is often limited, competitive, or not well advertised, leaving many students unaware of the help available to them. Living costs, accommodation fees, and international tuition fees continue to rise, which can cause significant financial stress. Universities could improve by expanding financial aid, offering clearer guidance on available funding, and providing more consistent support for students facing unexpected financial difficulties.

Best aspects: One of the best aspects of my course is the mix of theoretical learning and practical application. The combination of in-class teaching with independent study encourages deeper understanding rather than passive learning. Contact with lecturers is generally supportive, and when needed, they are approachable and willing to clarify complex topics. The course structure also promotes critical thinking and problem-solving through coursework and group activities, which helps prepare students for real-world applications of the subject. Worst aspects / areas for improvement: At times, the workload can feel uneven, with multiple deadlines clustered together, making time management challenging. Some content could benefit from more consistent teaching delivery across modules, particularly in terms of contact hours and clarity of expectations. Increasing interactive sessions, such as workshops or applied tutorials, and providing clearer guidance on assessments would improve the overall learning experience and help students engage more confidently with the course material.

Best: The halls provide a comfortable living environment with basic amenities and a sense of independence, which is helpful for adjusting to university life. They also offer opportunities to meet other students and build a community. Worst: The main drawback is that the halls are far from the university campus. The distance makes daily travel time-consuming and inconvenient, especially with early lectures or late study sessions, and can add extra transport costs.
