Staffordshire University is a great place to study. The new facilities at the School of Health, Education, Policing and Sciences are great and really aid with practical learning. The lecturers and student union are very supportive and help with any concerns promptly and professionally.

The worst experience of university was definitely the build up to starting, the anxiety of meeting new people and the imposter syndrome that I have experienced whilst studying. My anxiety was definitely caused by overthinking the whole situation. Since starting I have made so many new friends that will stay friends for the rest of my life. Everyone in my cohort is so friendly and welcoming which has made me feel at ease so far. The anxiety has definitely reduced since getting to know university life and culture. The imposter syndrome still pops up but I have an amazing network with friends and students I have learnt how to cope when experiencing these feelings. And this is definitely my absolute favourite experience of university so far.

I do feel nervous when discussions in class take place, but I know everyone in there does not judge so I am able to speak freely.
