I am doing my masters in dentistry at Newcastle University and its been so far so good. I am gaining practical knowledge and I feel this will really help my career and give me a boost. I would suggest that any new student should certainly live in University halls as this is the way you can make a lot of friends as you will meet new people every single day.

Both the uni and city are so pretty as well, and there's alot to do.

Hard to tell what content we need to know and what's extra but I think it's like that in most cases... Most lecturers are really good though there's always going to be one not so good. Get 4 community placements and 4 hospital placements in first year which is quite a good amount.

It's expensive but it is probably the best university owned accomodation. There's security about and reception are really friendly whenever you go in. Signal is not the best but the WiFi is okay.
