The university itself is great as shown above by the ratings. Car parking is an issue, needs to be more car parking spaces. The spaces that are available very often don't become open until very late. I park on an overflow carpark by my building (Mackay) and campus security don't open this until 9:25 most days... my lectures tend to start at 9:30 which means after parking up I'm normally late despite being on campus since 9/9:15. Location is gorgeous, lots of lovely walks to do!

There is too much online learning. In two years I have had 2 lectures on campus in a lecture theatre. There is lots of timetabling issues, leading to missed classes. There is too much "self-directed study", I am paying £9250 to be taught, not to teach myself. There is lots of confusion about who is meant to be in which practical room. The quality of the content is great, but maybe only a handful of lecturers are excellent at delivering it. My personal tutor hasn't been in contact with me yet this year. Meant to be No.1 in the UK for student satisfaction, but all I hear on my course is people complaining about it.

Keele has a fantastic community feel. It has a beautiful campus and many support services. Being a part of Keele is not just about revising and completing coursework. There are hundreds of societies to try, events and talks to attend and opportunities in all fields. A big part of studying at Keele is learning about yourself and discovering and broadening your interests in a safe and supported manner.

My course offers a range of different assessment types to help develop a varied and broad skill set. On of the best things about my course is the case study approach which brings a real life appreciation to the information and skills we are learning. The discussions during these tutorials help create a deeper understanding of the subject material.
