One of the worst aspects of my university experience so far has been the strikes as they have really impacted by education and generally how often I have interacted with friends and people on my course. My favourite aspect though is living on campus as everything I need is nearby and the shops are only a 15 minute walk. My housemates are also lovely and I really enjoy spending time with them so I'm glad I was put with them. UWE is a great place to study as the lecturers are really friendly and try to help as much as they can and generally the people I have met here, of all ages, have been nothing but nice. However, I feel as though the students aren't supported as much as they should be and therefore putting more effort into mental health support would be beneficial.

Although I feel as though I can't contact my lecturers much, I really like them all and I feel as though it is easy to ask questions as they are very approachable and friendly during seminars. Some of my lectures are online though which I think are disappointing because it makes it easier for me to lose focus and therefore not take in as much of what they are teaching, so that is one thing I would improve on the course. I really like some of the workshops/seminars as it makes learning so much easier when it is face-to-face and you're actively doing the task with teacher supervision.

I think the money I pay for my accommodation is good for what I receive as I am happy living here. There is plenty of space in the common area and bedroom, and it is perfect for lectures as it is on campus and shops are only a 15 minute walk away. The ovens are not the best quality as I often have to keep an eye on them every few minutes as they tend to turn off on their own when I'm cooking food which is very inconvenient. The signal is awful as any phone calls I have cut off within a minute if I am inside the house which means I have to take them outside. Despite this, I am happy I got this accommodation.

Fantastic lecturers that are enthusiastic and caring with a wealth of professional experience. More exercise classes on my campus.
