BGU is a great place to study, in a relaxed environment. It offers many opportunities for support, wether this be academically, financially or with more personal matters. The chaplaincy is wonderful as it hosts plenty of events and excursions, that are affordable, which can allow students to have new and excitable experiences, whilst getting the chance to meet others. The chaplaincy is also somewhere that anyone can go for support and guidance.
One thing that could be enhanced about the university are the sports and societies, whilst a small range of sports and societies are offered, I feel that more could be done to advertise these societies as me and my friends did not know about the existence of some of them until later on in the year. Also, a wider range of societies could be offered as I do not yet feel that there is something for everyone.
I would recommend BGU as a place to study, it has amazing facilities, is close to the lovely city of Lincoln, it has a good student union and overall is a relaxed, comfortable environment.

The way that my course is taught works very well for me, I have in person seminars every week which are very informative. My tutor is greatly supportive in our study and help is offered whenever it is needed.
We are given homework to do outside of university every week and if I am struggling with any of it, I can send an email to my tutor and they are often very quick to reply and give the help I need.

The best thing is the support system in regards to facilitates with the library, CELT, student advice and more, they provide help with work and worries students may have, this really lightens the workload making essays and general feeling confused feel a lot less daunting.
My worst experience has been with those in my accommodation running up and down the corridor, screaming and shouting, knocking on doors for fun and even playing football in the corridor, however, the accommodation office has nipped a lot of this behaviour in the bud, making my experience of living on campus a lot more relaxing.

The lecturers deliver really interesting topics in a manner that makes it easy to understand and remember, the course content feels very accessible in that i don’t need to know overly difficult jargon to be able to know what we are discussing.
The worst aspect has been the lack of attendance from other students means that sometimes things get moved around such as seminars.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
I really like being on campus i feel like i can get more rest with not having to get up early for travel, it also makes it a lot easier to connect with new people which is really nice as i am very introverted.
I don’t like that people can be very loud late at night however the university has set a noise curfew.
