There are a lot of great Facilities at Rave, but (I say this as no fault of the tutors, and matters are improving but) Illustration in particular leaves a lot to be desired. Most of us use our own materials or work digitally because working traditionally can't always be economically viable (the continued purchase of various paints as a general example). It would be nice for there to be some more traditional means of creating illustrations. I know my college had lino facilities and also one of those big wheel prints (To be honest, I think my not knowing the name of it proves my point).
The location is fantastic, lots of good food, coffee things to do. Just the other day I went to Ikea with some friends and it was great, so I've no complaints there.
Student support. I think there's a lot of good support but in the first year I wanted more reasons as to why an essay received a C grade (nothing wrong with that, I just wanted more feedback) A tutor didn't respond to my request, and one did though at the time it felt dismissive and made me feel conceited for wanting more feedback. Still, it was one mid experience, and I don't blame the tutors involved, it just wasn't particularly good.
Campus is great. Could do with some walled classrooms, it can get quite noisy from time to time. At the same time, the open-plan can also be really intuitive so it depends on the day. The Student floor (? the level 4 area by the library) Has recently gotten an upgrade with a PS4 and Snooker table. Really cool. I'd like more private booths though because they're always taken.
Student life. Generally is fine. Wish Rave had their own accommodation, but that's being nitpicky at this point.
Student's Union all do a fantastic job, all I'd maybe say is more societies/ more notice in advance for events. I think the aula board is a good step in the right direction for both of these.

Course content is great. I think it's been done in a really good way. The first year was a bit of a grind to get through and at times I didn't enjoy it, but the tasks for the second year have been amazing so far! I'm really happy with the work I've been making.
I only put Work Placements and Internships as 3 stars since I don't know much about how it works yet. But there are lots of conversations in lectures and tutorials about the industry that I've found really helpful. I've also been doing some work in the library which I think would also be invaluable to me in the future.
Lecturers and Teaching have been amazing this year. Last year less so, but that's online learning. (Not that it was the fault of any of them, I think most of my problems came from my own computer literacy).
Career Prospects, I feel a lot more confident about eventually breaking into the industry because of my classes. Though, I would not be surprised if I worked in retail/service for a while after graduation.
Tutor contact time, I wish we had more reviews/ pitch style things for our work. But otherwise, I think all is good.
Facilities. I've said this before, however, I will say this again. It's through no fault of our fantastic Tutors or people on the student's union but I think it's pretty disheartening at times to see the TV set for the TV Production studio when the only real facilities illustration can use is the Riso Printer. I'm not trying to compare, I know the arts are facing funding cuts, but when my college has more materials to make traditional work than my uni does, its a bit lacking. Other universities definitely have more materials for their Illustration students to use, and while its fine that I have to provide my own materials a lot of the time if Rave wants to compete with others for illustration and fine art, they might have to sink more of the Illustration funding they get from us each year into more facilities. Otherwise, I'm happy to be at Rave.

Best: the uni looks cool and there are signs making it clear where the classrooms are
Worst: there has been an elevator "under construction"...

Worst: there has been an elevator "under construction" since day 1, and this means the elevators are usually full
