It has a great reputation and a great course. Each Lecturer has their own way of teaching and offers a comprehensive overview of the module topic. The university has a beautiful campus with access to a range of amenities. The lake is perfect for a summer day, whilst also having access to the sports centre and all that Portland has to offer. The university is situated well within the city - it is only a 20 minute tram ride to the centre of town. When you are on campus, you are in a bubble - making sure everyone is comfortable and accommodated for. In town, you have access to the vast amount of bars, restaurants and clubs. The nightlife is great in nottingham and it accommodates the studEnts greatly.

First year was tough as it was 2020-2021 so everything was online. It meant that we were unable to meet any course mates for the year and there was very limited engagement. The following years have been better - entirely in person. The division of teaching is clearly established at the beginning of each module so you know what to expect over the coming term and can appropriately prepare. Seminars are invaluable - ensuring one hour a week of face to face conversation with your tutor and small number of other students. This consolidates the lecture content from the previous week and guarantees that you think beyond the content.

Spent a lot of time there due to lockdowns. It was in the centre of campus - only a 4 minute walk from SU building, Hallward library, the Downs, and the lecture and seminar rooms where I was based. My room was large and comfortable and the bathrooms which were shared with 4 others were always clean and well looked after. The food let the accommodation down. Received raw chicken when I was in isolation and boxes that were labelled vegan when it was clearly meat. Also very repetitive. Overall, loved the accommodation and would spend another year there happily.

Amazing campus and great teaching

In person teaching was great. Lecturers are very informative and have achieved some great work.
