I'm currently in first year at the University of Liverpool and my best piece of advice would be to not take it too seriously in your first year, the work is challenging but you do only need to hit the 40% mark, and if you got into Liverpool then you should really be hitting that. This may have happened at any uni, but at Liverpool, with the people I've met, I've learned a lot of social skills and built my confidence massively, the atmosphere is perfect for doing that here.
