The Aberdeen campus has such a magical feel to it and even after four years here I still feel excited to be around such a pretty place. The libraries on campus are also very cosy and it's good to study there. The lecturers and tutors I've had in the last four years seem to enjoy their job, and thus the learning experience has been great to me. Pus, coming from a place with very few sports clubs and other societies, I was pleasantly surprised to see how many clubs and societies there were at Aberdeen university. I have been able to try so many different things over the last few years and I'm really grateful for it. There are some aspects of my uni experience that I didn't enjoy, mainly due to covid. Many online lectures were recorded lectures from several years ago and thus the quality wasn't so good. It was very hard mentally to motivate myself to study remotely, and I think student support could have been much better during those hard times.

Apart from online teaching during covid, I've really enjoyed the learning experience for this course. The course content is always interesting and even though the assignments weren't always easy I have more or less always enjoyed working on them. The number of course hours has decreased since my first year which means that there is more personal work now, but I don't really mind, as long as I still have a few hours of actual contact with my classmates and lecturers every week, as this really helps staying motivated. I would have liked for our lecturers and tutors to talk about placements and internships more, because I know I'm not the only one when I say that I have no idea where to look at to find work experience before graduating.

Hillhead was greatly overpriced for what you got. Even new carnegie was not worth the rent, the rooms were small and the kitchen was not very functional. People were also often very loud when partying and I was often exhausted from not being able to sleep properly. The location was okay because it's close to lidl, the beach and campus, but it is so far from the city centre, and I know many students can't really afford the bus as it's really expensive here in Aberdeen, so getting to town would take forever if walking.

The university experience so far has been incredible and that is because it's Aber. In bigger city unis it's easier to get lost in the crowd but Aber has a closeness and care for the individual unlike others. That's what has made my uni experience so amazing

Really very good. Well maintained and can be accessed by many students, whatever ability and economic situation.

There is feedback on every assignment so that students can improve. Tutors and lecturers doors are always open to help every student exceed their academic expectations.

Supportive of societies and a positive force within the university.

it's a small town and has a small town feeling. It can be quite isolated but it is well catered to students. There are many pubs and bars and lots of accommodation for 2nd and 3rd year students

Aber has a diverse range of clubs for any individual. No matter what there it's there it's a well-funded club or society for you.

Most: Highly competant lecturers who are at the top of their field and have excellent subject knowledge Least: Occasionally use copy and pasted powerpoints to explain points rather than their own personal opinion.
