good lecturer support

It's a truly great university, from learning to student life. I also did my undergraduate degree at Bangor University and had the best three years living there. However, as a postgrad I now commute to the university, and this is often difficult due to parking. Also, maintaining a social life is often difficult and the support offered with this is something that could be improved.

I do not attend any lectures because I am a research student, but the academic support by my supervisors and the wider school is brilliant. Constantly working independently and relying on my self-set timetable is sometimes difficult, but my supervisors provide great support to help with this

The location was perfect as it was in a university village and close to the university and locations for socialising. My only complaint would be that the lift often broke, which was inconvenient
