One of the best experience for me is the amount of knowledge that I have absorbed in a very minimal amount of time. The teaching is hands on. Also, the community of aberdeen is always keen to help the other. There is no bad experience yet.

All is good

The teaching quality of the Geology department is incredible. Lecturers are happy to engage on topics you are personally weak in and generally really like teaching. All lecturers are personable good to talk to.

The course structure is very similar to that at a 9-5 job. This may seem like an obstacle, but it has meant that most assignments and learning are done within those hours which allows you a study-life balance. All lecturers have also been very committed to teaching and clearly seem excited to be teaching students. Pretty decent in replying by email too although depending on their workload you do have to occasionally chase them up.
