The best aspect of my university life has been the geography course and making many friends on my course. It helped that I lived on campus on the first year and got the real university experience. I love Lincolns location- it is close to many other places in the UK since its located central to England, there's plenty of green spaces around Lincoln which makes it feel like a city and a forest all in one. The library is really beautiful and easy to study in and the location on campus is perfect. I love how Lincoln isn't spread out too much and all lectures/ seminars take place in close proximity to each other. The worst aspect of my uni experience was obviously covid. It distrusted my studies so much. Online lectures were hard to focus on and I lost a lot of motivation and love for learning. Another aspect is housemates. It is a shame that housing markets make students choose houses so early on in the academic year. This is a time you don't really know your current roommates but feel forced to live with people who you don't necessarily get on with. This can really affect university life and mental health. If one thing could be changed for future years, it should be forcing the student housing market to get students to sign up later in the year and not in the first few weeks of meeting new people. Overall i have loved my uni experience, it's just a shame it will be over soon. I plan to do a masters at the same university because I love the campus and the city but it won't be the same.

The worst aspects of the course was online lectures. They were boring and it was hard to concentrate and keep up motivation. The best parts of my course were the field trips, due to covid we couldn't go abroad but it was still good. I love the group work we have done throughout uni and the challenges lecturers gave us. Some modules (especially in my 3rd year) haven't been well organised. I felt that some modules were disjointed and as a result I didn't do well in those modules. This is due to lack of staff and Covid. One module I was taught by 5 different people and the module leader left after week 5. This has tainted my university experience. However, I dont this would've been an issue if it wasn't for Covid. Overall I have enjoyed my course but hope in the future it matures and there are set modules with better options and activities.

I love the nature of lincoln and the greenspcaes dotted around. It makes you feel like you're not in a city. I do believe some places are a little expensive but that's expected in a city. Lincoln is positioned perfectly near the middle of the UK so its not too far to travel anywhere. I always feel safe on campus and the majority of the time feel safe off campus. I love how involved the uni is with the environment especially around brayford pool. Lincoln estates manage many of the greenspaces on campus and they do an amazing job at it.

I loved the proximity to campus and the simplicity of living on campus but hated my roomates and how my dorm room felt like a prison with the bug heavy fire doors, breeze block white walls and shower wet room. The staff on site were always polite and helpful and maintenance were always happy to help.
