The mental health support is not preventative. I feel as though I have to be very unwell and unable to cope before anyone knows what to do. Even so, there is little leeway when it comes to my deadlines. The best experience for me is my course. I love all my lectures I think they’re engaging and cover important topics. I mostly have seminars rather than lectures which improves the experience.

100% in person is so much better than anything online. Although, having all lectures recorded is a great idea and makes uni much more accessible for people. Also the lecturers are very engaging because we have small classes (10 people) so it’s easy to build a rapport. I love the diversity of the assignments too, they help to set us up for the real world eg. A policy brief rather than an essay. Worst aspect - they change the modules often which isn’t fair when making your module choices.

Maintenance would come over regularly but the whole building was old and shabby. Once we had black mould and the maintainable spray painted over it. It was also intrusive to have people in the flat all the time without knowing when they’d be coming. The laundrette was expensive and didn’t work well (clothes came out with more dirt than when they went in). The windows were impractical (couldn’t open two next to each other at the same time) and they were spider infested. Best - The room itself was fairly modern. They all had en-suites. They all had double beds.

Brilliant support academically but the student union side of things is weak in the Cheltenham campus.

Good in person lecturing, some of the course does at times feel irrelevant.

Modern halls of residence, the location however is the biggest drawback of the halls, very far away from campus and town.
