The university is friendly and the staff are great. The open door policy where you can go and talk to staff during the day without booking with them is fantastic if you’re on your way out or in. The IT suite is fantastic and there is lots of help in the Libary. There is a good amount of space in uni to study.

The lecturers operate an open door policy which is fantastic. BES have an IT suite they primarily use and set labs close by. All lectures are in person with recording put on canvas so you can revisit when revising. There are lots of field trips where you put teaching material into physical practice domestically and internationally.

These are private company halls!!! Overpriced. Amenities are ok. WiFi isn’t great - slow speeds and disconnects frequently. Private company washing machines. About £4 a wash and £3 a dry. Can’t set the heating to a temp, it’s either on or off, and then it’s on a timer. No water pressure in the showers. It’s not worth 6 grand a year for 48 weeks. Car parking is expensive. They justify this with it being ‘competitive pricing for inner city parking’ forgetting that they should be helping students. It costs £900 a year!!! Hot water comes out grey. It’s good for first year due to location but find a house share for the rest of your years at uni if possible.

I loved studying at LJMU. I thought it was class. My lecturer was great, they helped me massively when I was studying. I would recommend this university to everyone!! :)

Best: It was great, really interesting and the academics were fab Worst: nothing :)

It's a great location and the rooms were really nice. Very clean and staff were lovely.
