I loved my time at Birkbeck! My teachers were the best and I love the access to all the university of London libraries and facilities. Unfortunately, I have enjoyed the night classes much but sometimes it necessary.

There’s so much for people with disabilities. They’re also wonderful to the LGBTQI+ community- fitting gender neutral toilets and having a lovely supportive staff. The library is so so lovely - three floors of books, hundreds of computers and refillable water features.

I can only speak from my experience in which I was given some support in first year to acquire a dyslexia test. It wasn’t the best and I ended up having to pay to see a specialist.

I think it was done amazingly! I love Birkbeck and I wish to go to masters there. Unfortunately I have found the night classes affect my sleep, but it’s an amazing alternative for people who work or have an alternative lifestyle!

There’s continued support - even for alumni. Weekly meetings with career guides if you choose to go :)

The university is right in the middle of London, so it's amazing to walk outside and be next to the British Museum or a quick walk to Trafalgar Square. This does make it expensive to live at all close, but feels worth it. As a small university the available space for study and relaxation feels limited.

The staff are amazing and passionate and make it a joy to study with them.
