Love my life at uni of sussex, super friendly environment and beautiful campus and Brighton is the best. Only thing that could be improved is more sport societies for people not wanting to play at the highest level

Modules are super current and interesting and there’s so much choice

Amazing facilities, modern, double bed, en-suite and so clean

Sussex seems to genuinely care about its students, both their wellbeing and academic progress. I feel pretty supported by them and there is a nice atmosphere. However the accommodation here is not ideal; it's expensive and there are often problems that take ages to get fixed.

I really enjoy my course and find it interesting, however I have a couple of lecturers who are clearly very knowledgeable but aren't very good at teaching. I also wish my seminars were better run as they have the potential to remedy this but miss the mark.

It is pretty expensive for students, but the main issue is the lack of working essentials- for example my oven is broken- and the very long time it takes for people to come and fix things once you've flagged them. It feels a bit like they know it's student housing and therefore they don't have to care or bother dealing with issues as much.
