The best part about the university is it’s broad range of opportunities both academic and socially. One way it could be improved is by sign posting important information more clearly

I think the course hours and the contact with lecturers is really good particularly the open door policy. Sometimes lecturers could be more clear and ask for more feedback to ensure people understand the course content

I like the location best with it being between the university and the centre. I dislike the pricing as I think you can get cheaper accommodation with the same/ better facilities

I think there are lots of study spaces which is great! And lots of resources available online but there could potentially be a bit more support with study techniques and how to get the most out the degree you are paying for. Could be more places to socialise of a nighttime on campus but great for the daytime!

For first part of first year, only had 1 hour per week of in person teaching, this has been much improved in second year but there are still less contact hours than I was expecting. I don’t have experience of work placements and internships but believe career help and prospects from the department would be good. I don’t believe I have been made aware of many subject facilities apart from reading lists online. Lectures are interesting but can sometimes be confusing (when terminology is not explained properly)

Was a catered halls and the food was not always filling and tasty. Up keep of halls was poor - often had to request things to be fixed multiple times. Cleaning once a month was good. Washing expensive at £5 for every wash/dry. Good location and facilities in my room were good.
