for me, it’s close to home and I go home every weekend due to this. The accommodation prices are fair also! The campus bar is good fun and there’s always support available if you need it. The campus shop has good prices on everyday essentials, and the meal deals are fair too. My only issue would be the fact that my course finishes in March, but I still have to pay for accommodation, and my final term of accommodation will be in April, which I definitely won’t be there for and there’s no way out of it, so it’s a waste of £2000 really and that’s such a letdown and why I will be commuting next year

The opportunities for field trips are crazy. Worst: the teaching style of it. It feels like a waste of time going to most lectures as they just read what’s on a powerpoing and don’t add further to it either, so it just feels like I could’ve done it from home

Self contained studio flat. Quiet area and good location for my lectures (I can wake up at 9:15 for my 9:30 and get there on time ) Only thing, there’s no oven or drawers which is annoying but understandable. There is a microwave and a microwave oven instead however

Chester is a great city and the campus is in a really nice location within it. The staff have been nothing but lovely and supportive, with a great careers centre to provide unique opportunities to students.

The course allows you to choose exactly what areas of geography you want to study, with a great module on GIS. It could bee improved by having better facilities, more lab time would be fun.
