The best aspect of uni was how engaged and helpful the professors have been, individual classes offer a variety of help, but for me, my personal tutor has always been available to help with anything I have asked and my dissertation supervisor was incredibly encouraging and allowed me to produce the best possible work I could have. The worst part was having two years of my uni experience online due to COVID which isn’t specific to my uni but did highlight how much I enjoyed being on campus when we returned to in person teaching. I would say the largest place for improvement at my uni would be a lot of the online self service features can be awkward to use or difficult to get working properly, I.E. printers in a library only working via the portal and then not being clear how to connect to them.

The best part of the course has been my fifth year, the masters classes have a larger focus on the application of what we are learning, I.E. years 1-4 teach us how to solve for x but year 5 makes us think more about what x, y, z are, this allowed for independent study to be more involved with real world situations and clearly showed the use of what we are learning. The aspects of my courses that could be improved would be the online nature of courses during the Covid pandemic, this made it harder to ask questions and improve on certain areas I was struggling with

I was in one of the more expensive halls for uni, which was by and large very comfortable, large bed and desk as well as an en-suite bathroom and great views, there was plenty of social space, kitchen, sofa rooms etc. The halls were nice but felt expensive for what was offered.

Great facilities and location, could have more communication with some help that is available.

Lecturers are overall good, sometimes speak to fast and glaze over some topics
