Durham is a comfortable bubble where you learn that if you don't do your work then no one else will. The competitive environment pushes you to work harder, whilst also enjoying the few years you spend at uni.

Very expensive.

I love my time at uni on a whole - the only thing stopping a full 5 stars is the academic element this year with tutorials online and the most horrific online exams

A lot of good study spaces just weird booking slots this year which while good as you’re guaranteed a seat the rigidness can be a negative if I want to stay and finish something

The college support system is great, an incredible woman as my college support member but the university support overall seems a lot less personal and more intimidating

The lectures online are mostly of a good quality/similar to in person with just more flexibility which is good but online tutorials are horrific - I learn nothing

The career hub is good for finding an internship but I don’t think it’s clear that’s there or what support is available fir this type of thing
