I think the range of study spaces makes it perfect for whatever environment you are after- quiet, chatty etc. I do think having more chairs and tables in buildings like the occulus, the student union and the arts centre could be even better as these spaces do get busy.

I think more contact hours with the personal tutor would be useful. aside from that I feel very supported with my studies and laboratory work. Its engaging and well varied that I get to learn about lots of different areas of chemistry.

Sherborne was amazing for the price point- large kitchen, nice rooms with big windows, good quiet location. I did have a few issues with water leaking and mold in my room, which was seen fairly quickly after I reported it. I will mention, though, that the room next to the kitchen, which my friend had, was very noisy as this room shared a wall with the kitchen. I think students should be made aware of this beforehand as for some people, this was very disruptive.

The buses run pretty late and there’s always things to participate in like varsity. But being a campus uni sometimes you get sick of the campus quite quickly and the campus grocery store is really expensive for when you can’t walk to tesco

Lecturers are always happy to answer questions but my lectures are always 9-11 which isn’t great because I feel like I am more likely to go to ones in the afternoon

Our showers are communal and leak into the hallway and peoples rooms and our sink always has a sewage smell in the kitchen. It is good value for money though as the kitchen is large and there is a lot of storage and a sink in our rooms. It’s a bit far from the shops but not awful.
